Seasonal Tips
Trimmer Line
Trimmer line snapping and breaking easily? Just pop it in a bucket of water for 12-24 hours and it will restore its moisture making it more flexible again and less likely to break
Keeping your mower clean
Always tip your lawnmower backwards when looking at the underneath of the machine to ensure oil does not run through the engine.
Before use grab a rag and rub a bit of oil on the underside of the deck. - This way after use the grass will wash straight off keeping it clean preventing rust and decay
Fuel storage
Always check your fuel and fuel storage. Pump fuel has more ethanol added into it which is hygroscopic (absorbs water), so old fuel cans or fuel that has been sat for while will more than likely contain traces of water which will cause running issues in machinery.
Refresh your fuel cans, and try to buy fuel in smaller quantities to save having to dispose of unused fuel.
When you are not going to use your machine for a number of months run the machine dry (until it stops/runs out of fuel)
